The woven fabric is so tight and dense that it feels like a miniature climbing rope, yet it coils down to almost nothing in my pocket. Six feet is the perfect length for giving my dog freedom on trails without letting her get tangled.

The woven texture feels dense and smooth in hand, not flimsy at all for something this light. I’ve clipped it to my pack for a day hike and forgot it was even there until I needed it.

I was skeptical a 3.75-ounce leash could handle my 70-pound puller, but the tight weave holds up better than my old thick one. Six feet is perfect for trail walks, and I barely notice it clipped to my belt.
