The fabric on this collar is so tightly woven it feels almost like a solid strap, yet it weighs next to nothing on my hand. My 60-pound lab wears it on every hike now and the 1-inch width distributes pressure nicely without digging in.

My dog is a puller and I was worried the 1-inch lightweight webbing wouldn't hold up, but this collar has taken daily abuse for a month without fraying or stretching. It's barely there on his neck, which is exactly what I wanted for hot summer hikes.
