Took this cap on a weekend hike and the adjustable metal clasp kept it secure even in gusty conditions. The 8-wale cord has a nice sturdy feel that doesn't get flimsy after sweat.
The metal clasp on the back is a nice touch, stays put during a breezy hike. The cotton cord material feels substantial without being too heavy. Only wish the peak had a bit more structure for a sharper look.
The cotton cord material feels nice but the hat's fit is a bit shallow on my head. The metal clasp adjuster works fine, though I wish the brim had a bit more shape to it.
