The soak-and-tie method is dead simple, and the fabric held up great after a full afternoon of trail dust and creek dips. My pup actually stood still for the first few minutes while it worked its cooling magic, which felt like a small win on a hot climb.

After soaking it in the creek for about thirty seconds, my pup wore it for the whole two-mile loop and was still panting less than usual at the summit. The fabric held water nicely without dripping all over the car on the ride home.

Took this on a hot hike last weekend and the soak-and-tie method worked exactly as promised — my pup actually seemed more comfortable after a few minutes with it on. The fabric held water long enough to make the whole descent feel worth it.
