My husky actually kept this on for our entire hike up Mt. Marcy—the cooling fabric stayed damp for hours. Soaking it in water before we left was the key, and it didn't drip everywhere like I worried it would.

Soaked it for a minute before our afternoon hike and my pup stayed noticeably cooler compared to his usual panting—plus the Americana pattern looked great in our summit photo.

My dog ran right into a creek wearing this and the bandana stayed put. It actually kept her neck noticeably cooler on the sunny trail back to the car.
