It took maybe a minute to soak and wring out, and the fabric stayed cool against her neck for a solid hour on our afternoon hike. She seemed way less droopy at the summit, which made the selfie worth it.

My dog actually kept his tongue in his mouth for the first mile of our afternoon climb thanks to this thing. The soak-and-tie method is dead simple, and it made our summit selfie way less drooly.

Soaked it in the stream before our hike and tied it around my pup’s neck—by the time we reached the summit for photos, he was panting way less than usual. The fabric holds the water nicely without dripping everywhere, which is a win for a hot trail day.
