Bandana Canyon

My dog actually kept this on for the whole hike without trying to shake it off, which is a first. The soak-and-tie method took maybe two minutes and it stayed damp and cool against her neck the entire time.

Soaked it in the creek before a steep climb and my pup’s tongue stayed out of the dirt the whole way down—he even posed for the summit photo without trying to yank the thing off. The soak-and-tie trick is dead simple, and it’s become a permanent fixture in my pack.

My dog actually stopped panting within five minutes of having this around his neck on a hot hike, and the soak-and-tie routine takes zero effort. It stayed damp for a good couple of hours, which made the summit selfie way more comfortable for both of us.
