These cooling bandanas are great for summit selfies and keeping your dog a bit cooler on the trail. Just soak it in water before tying it around your pup's neck to bring down the body temp a bit. You must use your best human judgment, of course - bring plenty of water, and if it's too hot out for your dog, leave them at home!

Pro tip - make sure to tie a square knot, rather than a granny knot, to keep the bandana tight.

Got these for my dog's summer hikes, and they do help a bit after soaking — the cooling effect is real but fades faster than I'd like, maybe 20 minutes or so. Not a miracle worker, but decent for quick relief on warm days.
